Phone number for Charles Schwab is not working

Not only are the representatives inexperienced and not very knowledgeable, their phone # 800 - 435 - **** is currently not working.

No Response

I was unable to get a response from Schwab International using the message form on their website. However, using "international@***.com" I received a response in two days.

I want to become a customer.

I have been with Bank of America for decades with poor relations. They refuse to allow be to have a joint account with my husband. In addition they only allow me to withdraw a $1000 at a time. Help! Susan Goodall email: goodallmost@***.com

On 8/11/2021, SSA deposited my social security payment into my Schwab account as they do every month. It did not appear in my account account on 8/11/2021. I waited a couple of days, then contacted CS via chat. The agent tried to claim that the Treasury Department...

To Rebutt many of the lamebrain reviews

I have been a customer of Charles Schwab for over 30 years. I have never experienced the problems of the other reviewers. If you don't use your head, you'll create a lot of problems for yourself! Schwab's brokerage fees are zero. They have literally trillions under their trust. The investment choices are nearly limitless. You can easily reach a real, living human being over the phone. So, what's the problem?

I need access to my money NOW

You have stolen my money. If I don't receive it back within the next 12-24 hours, you will be making me and my fiance homeless. We aren't able to rent a truck to move and are unable to give the funds to our future landlord. Someone needs to call me ASAP before I go strait to the news stations and inform of my $17k+ that you have restricted access to. I want my money out of your hands. All you banks ever do is steal us. I suggest real quick that someone contact me immediately before I alert everyone in my community what theives you are. How dare you mess with me and my family's survival hood. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Moved entire account to my account at Vanguard.

Schwab did call and I unloaded on them about the Manager. Lots of apologies but too little too late..

Went to make a $400,000 purchase and the Manager basically told me to leave and do it on line. Very abrupt and very rude.

Do not trust or invest with Schwab. Deceptive with shady practices.

Needs to fully disclose the dollars you can expect from investments at stated interest rates, not just the percentage you receive.

On a $10,000 investment at 0.2%, you would receive only $2. They might want you to think you are receiving 2% when it is a much lower amount at not just 0.2% which is 10 times lower, but .02% which is 100 times lower.

I cant get the forms I need to transfer account FROM Schwab

I have become increasingly frustrated by the Schwab response team regarding the endless requests to confirm my computer. Also, I have not found them helpful and NOW I cant get thru to get the transfer from schwab to Fidelity confirmed.

I have not been able to log into my account successfully. I was given a temporary password which is also not working. I cant remember the name of my first boyfriend which was my security question so I really need to speak with someone to help me get into my account.

THEY DECIDED SUDDENLY TO NOT MANAGE MY ACCOUNTS. I HAVE OVER 2 MILLION DOLLARS IN THOSE ACCOUNTS.

Not Out For You, Out For Themselves

There are five major issues I've uncovered about this company, and possibly or probably others in the industry. 1. Nondisclosure in main investment discussion of lag time between when your investment matures and the time before it is rolled over into another investment. 2. Nondisclosure in main investment discussion of the "bank rate" percentage during this interim time, which is the Schwab sweeps fund rate of currently 0.12%, that is barely one-tenth of one percent. 3. Schwab is allowed to and does take your money in the sweeps "bank" rate and invest it to make money for themselves on your money, then gives you the ultra low "bank rate" while keeping the rest. 4. The Client Advocacy team is employed by Schwab, so they are going to do what is best for the company, not you, unless that also benefits the company. 5. Many important facts such as numbers 1 and 2 above are only disclosed in the final read back of your order, so if you are not paying attention thinking it is merely a summary of what you agreed to, think again. Several important facts that can affect your investment decision are buried in the read back, and are included only there for compliance purposes with financial rules and regulations. However, these important disclosures should be included in the main discussion with the investor, not made into a small-type asterisk at the end of the discussion, especially including number 3 where they can make money on your money and not give any to you. Why is the customer not made aware of this and not benefiting from it? Schwab needs to be much more transparent in its business operations with customers. I am wary of them now. Investors should go outside Schwab to the regulators to complain; the Advocacy team is not necessarily on your side. I think the federal regulation agencies should require disclosure of the above in the main discussion with investors and not relegate these important investment facts to the read back of the investment. Seems very shady and untrustworthy. Beware of Charles Schwab and others in the industry who do this. I think it is immoral and potentially unethical if not illegal. Know what you're getting into so you can also get out of it if you don't like how they do business.
